  • Yvonne San Juan, M.S., CCC-SLP , Owner

    Yvonne San Juan, M.S., CCC-SLP has been working with children to develop their communication skills since 2008, first as an speech-language implementer (assistant), and then as a certified speech-language pathologist. She transitioned to private practice in July of 2014 in an effort to specialize in her areas of interest, and to provide quality services. She has pursued advance training in treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech and is currently one of the few speech therapists in Alaska that is “Recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech” by Apraxia-Kids (https://www.apraxia-kids.org/location/united-states/alaska/). She continues to take CAS continuing education courses to maintain her expertise in this area. She also has advanced training in PROMPT, PECS, and DTTC. Yvonne also has experience in treating stuttering, autism, and traditional articulation and language disorders and delays.

  • Maya Dunham, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Maya graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and went on to complete her education at the University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2009. She began her career working for North East Independent School District in San Antonio, TX where she provided Spanish and English individual and group therapy for children with a wide variety of speech and language impairments. She moved to Alaska in the summer of 2011 to begin the next chapter of her life and career. In addition to working as part of Achieve Speech Therapy, Maya has worked for Anchorage School District since 2011. She enjoys working with Achieve Speech Therapy because she can work with more diverse students and families within the greater Anchorage community. Maya specializes working with culturally and linguistically diverse students, as well as, fluency disorders (stuttering and cluttering). She loves incorporating technology into speech therapy and making both learning and communicating fun and meaningful. In her free time, Maya enjoys biking and visiting all of Anchorage’s parts. Maya and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, regardless of the season.

  • Faith Ridgway, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Faith Ridgway is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Anchorage, AK. Faith is bilingual in English and Tagalog. She has extensive experience working with children and adults in a variety of areas (i.e., articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, voice and resonance, hearing, swallowing, cognitive-communication, social communication, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)). Faith received her bachelors in Speech, language, and hearing sciences from the University of Arizona and her masters in Speech-language Pathology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. When Faith is not at work, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast and you can often find her climbing mountains.
